Tim’s Air Navigation Simulator

Tim’s Air Navigation Simulator has been online for years, 1998 according to its website. This simple, graphical online simulator by Tim Carlson has been used by instructors and students to develop an understanding of how various radio navigation aids are used.

The simulator can be used to demonstrate movable card ADF, RMI, standard VOR and HSI. A user can set the aircraft’s heading, airspeed and/or rate of turn. Wind can also be added for better real world situations.
